Founder of Bergen County Speech Services, Christine Boodaghian is an ASHA-certified and New Jersey Licensed speech language pathologist with a range of experience. Christine obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from New York University, where she worked in clinical labs and found her love for speech therapy. She specializes in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT), improving oral resting postures and mechanisms of eating, speaking and swallowing that impact overall health. She is highly experienced in providing OMT to children and adults who suffer from a variety of ailments related to oral resting postures, such as mouth breathing, tongue thrust, tethered oral tissues (TOTs), sleep apnea, and persistent speech sound disorders. She is PROMPT-trained and has received her Qualification in Orofacial Myology (QOM). She currently provides Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) and Speech and Language Therapy services in Bergen County, New Jersey to client’s in the comfort of their own home or via teletherapy.

Christine is deeply familiar with speech and language development as it occurs in children from birth through high school. She has gained extensive experience working in schools across New Jersey providing comprehensive evaluations, speech and language therapy, writing IEPs, and attending IEP meetings. She is experienced in early language development, receptive and expressive language, speech sound disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs), cleft palate, and more. She is passionate about helping families and children develop communication skills that allow them to rise to their greatest potential.

Christine is a proud wife, mother of twins, and dog mama to a very fluffy Pomeranian. She enjoys cooking up delicious meals for her family, perfecting the art of sourdough bread, spending time in nature with her husband and kids, and getting lost in a good book (bonus points if it’s at the beach). Christine welcomes the opportunity to support adults and children seeking guidance for their speech and language.
